Laurie is a Certified Laser Technician and Licensed Master Esthetician with over 6 years of clinical skin care experience. She completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering and Design in 1985, then graduated from Derma Elite Advanced Esthetics Academy in Richmond, Virginia in 2006. Additional skin care experience includes makeup artist and consultant for Revlon, nation trainer and consultant for Ionithermie US and manager for Sculpture Inc, Total Skin Care. She routinely attends continuing education conferences in the medical aesthetics field. As an engineer Laurie enjoyed making the cityscape more beautiful; as a Master Esthetician, she has transferred her skills for design and aesthetics to the human form. Laurie’s goal is to provide the most advanced and current techniques in skin care to her clients.

Jamie Lubking
Board Certified Esthetician

Jamie is a Certified Esthetician with 4 years experience. She completed her esthetic training at the Institute for Advanced Medical Esthetics in Richmond, VA in 2006. Her additional skin care experience includes manager and esthetician for Ionithermie Center of Virginia and esthetician for Sculpture Inc. Total Skin Care. She has completed the Dermalogica course Excellence in Skin Care and routinely attends continuing education courses in order to stay current in the latest skin care techniques. Jamie is currently seeking her Bachelors Degree in Nursing and looks forward to graduating in 2011. Future plans include continuing her work in the medical skin care industry.

Sheri Flasch
C.I.D.E.S.C.O.
Licensed Master Esthetician

Sheri is a nationally certified and Licensed Master Esthetician with over 18 years of clinical skin care experience. She completed her Bachelors of Science Degree from Towson University in 1989, then graduated class valedictorian from Von Lee International School of Aesthetics in Baltimore, Maryland. She has served on The Board of Advisors for The Society of Plastic Surgery Skin Care Specialists, as well as, consulted, trained and managed numerous medical skin care clinics in the Mid-Atlantic region. She has lectured nationally at both aesthetic conventions and aesthetic schools. Not only does Sheri teach advanced clinical skin care procedures and protocols to her peers, she is always seeking out quality education and taking post graduate courses to better her knowledge and skills with regards to the medical skin care industry.

What is C.I.D.E.S.C.O.? - The Comite' International D'Esthetique et de Cosmetologie is an organization founded in Switzerland in 1946. The goal of which is to promote esthetics on an international level and maintain the highest standards of education available to the esthetician. C.I.D.E.S.C.O. is represented in over 30 countries and is considered the world's most prestigious diploma in the field of esthetics. To have a C.I.D.E.S.C.O. diploma means that you have reached a level of professionalism and proven your advanced skills and knowledge by sitting for and passing the C.I.D.E.S.C.O. examination.

John M. Pitman, III, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Pitman completed his undergraduate work at Northwestern University where he received two degrees, one in Psychology and the second in Biology. He attended The College of William and Mary where he served as an instructor in Biology and completed his Masters Degree in endocrinology. He then attended the University of Virginia where he obtained his Medical Degree and completed his training in both General Surgery and a two year Burn Fellowship at the University of Colorado. He received the Moyer and Eisman awards for his work in Burns and Plastic Surgery. He completed his training in Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University and started his own private practice in Williamsburg, Newport News, and Gloucester in 1995.

Dr. Pitman is currently a preceptor at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine and proudly serves in the United States Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. He recently completed his fourth tour of active duty treating wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr Pitman currently serves on five committees for the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, and the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities. He teaches two courses at the American Society or Plastic Surgeons in operating room accreditation and safety and has given over 20 national presentations and published over 25 articles and abstracts. 

Dr Pitman offers a comprehensive array of procedures to help you restore or enhance your appearance, including facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, body contouring and post-bariatric cosmetic surgery. He is assisted by a full-time cosmetic coordinator and certified physician-assistants, who bring an extra measure of safety and attention to detail to the practice.
